Lots of beautiful and unusual wooden items (shelves, chopping boards, blocks etc) with some wonderful inlays. We spotted little mini Wallace (and Grommet) characters inlaid in resin as well as some stunning colours throughout the wood. Would make wonderful gifts or additions to your own home and the prices seem very reasonable too.

Simon has made the most beautiful table for our kitchen. Truly gorgeous. He and Steph were great to deal with. I would without doubt recommend their lovely work and they were really nice people too!

Whenever I am on Exeter Quay I always have a wander inside Firetrees and admire the exceptional and original products. However, I had need of a unique gift and one of their decorated blocks fitted the bill. It represents excellent value for a unique item of quality. Better still, the personal service I received upon requesting an additional small engraving on the block was so pleasing and was arranged with the absolute minimum of bother . Simon made a cabinet for my son's room. The service was excellent and we were really pleased with the result. Communication was really good and I think the result was better than anything we found elsewhere. A very fair price too. Would definitely return for other bespoke items. Simon custom made two boards for us to use as small bespoke bedside tables in our holiday let. Having attached some IKEA stool legs, we are absolutely delighted with them. He even made three of them and allowed us to choose the two we preferred. We would definitely recommend this business for original and unique artisan products.

Fantastic little independent shop. My wife and I are big fans. Every time we venture to Exeter quay we like to pop in for a browse. I recently ordered a Wallace & Gromit themed chopping board as a surprise Christmas present from Steph, and what we ultimately ended up with didn't disappoint (see picture); my wife loves it, absolutely beautiful craftsmanship. First-class communication from Steph from begining to end. Very friendly and accomodating. A quality item that will be treasured for years to come. We've also previously bought a very cute drunk duck bottle holder in the past from here too. Safe to say I'm sure we'll be back again before long; we're in need of a new coffee table.
